The Minnesota State High School Soccer Coaches Association (MSHSSCA) is dedicated to the improvement of soccer in Minnesota. • A coach MUST be a member of the MSHSSCA by October 1, of the current year in order to be eligible for coaching awards or have their team or players eligible for postseason awards and honors. These honors include All-State Teams, Academic Team Awards, and Coaching Awards at the State level.

United Soccer Coaches is the largest coaches' organization in the United States and includes more than 18,000 members who coach both genders at all levels of the sport. In addition to a national rankings program for colleges and high schools, the United Soccer Coaches offers an extensive recognition program that presents nearly 10,000 individual awards every year.

• A coach must be a member of the United Soccer Coaches by October 1, of the current year in order to be eligible for his/her team or players to be eligible for national awards (All-Region and All-American honors).
